Joe DeSantis is constantly working. I remember when we had a clinic at St. John's, and I was amazed at how well he knew his fundamentals. He could really break the game down...and he could show you how to do it. Not many coaches can do that, teach and then show by example. He is an excellent student of the game
We were lucky enough to have Joe come in and do a 90 minute clinic for our house and travel coaches, running drills with two of our travel teams. I’ve had nothing but great feedback and would highly recommend that other area programs take advantage of Joe’s teaching ability and enthusiasm for the game, he can help all of us improve our coaching skills.

Joe DeSantis has 25 years division one college coaching experience. He played a crucial role in elevating the Quinnipiac University men’s basketball program from the Division II level to a respected Division I midmajor program. DeSantis’ eleven year stint leading Quinnipiac was the second-longest tenure in program history. The longest run belongs to legendary coach Burt Kahn, who posted a 459–358 record from 1960–91.
